XPENG launches in New Zealand

XPENG G6 New Zealand

XPENG is expanding outside of China even further, with a recent debut in New Zealand. The company will initially sell the G6 SUV that is already sold in the UK and other markets, but the larger X9 will arrive soon too.

XPENG has started off strong in New Zealand, with two service centres now open in North Shore, Auckland as well as further south, in Christchurch. Going into the rest of 2026, the company will look at adding additional locations in Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, and Tauranga so customers are well covered.

For now, just the G6 will be available in New Zealand, but the larger MPV-like seven seater X9 will be launching soon.
