New Volkswagen ID. Buzz priced from £57,115 in the UK

New Volkswagen ID. Buzz priced from £57,115 in the UK

Volkswagen announced the all new ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo earlier this year in March, but the company has finally revealed the pricing structure for the upcoming electric minivan. Pre-orders will take place between now and 30th June and it’ll go on sale in July.

Potential customers will need to put a deposit of £2,000 down between now and 30th June to secure a slot, however this is only for the ID.Buzz. The commercial van version is not yet available. The ID. Buzz Life will start the range off at £57,115, then the Style at £61,915 with the 1st Edition at £62,995.

Powering the ID. Buzz is the same technogluy found in the existing ID.3 passenger car with a 77kWh battery, 201bhp and 310Nm of torque. Due to the motors being in the rear of the van, the ID. Buzz is actually rear wheel drive. Range is quoted at 258 miles.

Inside, the ID. Buzz is very similar to the ID.3, with a two tone interior, eight USB-C ports for charging up devices, as well as a unique ‘Buzz Box’, a storage container that is located in-between the front seats and has a few useful additions, such as an ice scraper, bottle opener, bottle storage and a five-litre drawer.

For the infotainment, there is a 10-inch screen on the Life model, on higher specced versions this is a 12-inch display. The screen supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
