Toyota UK has this week revealed the price for the new GR 86, which is starting at £29,995 and will be available to customers later this year in July. The new car is on sale now. Due to upcoming crash regulations, Toyota has said that it’ll only be selling the GR 86 here in the UK and Europe for two years, so as a result of this Toyota has recommended to customers to act quickly if they want a GR 86.
The GR 86 is only offered in one trim level, with only one optional extra. Cars come with 10-spoke 18-inch alloys wheels, with Michelin PS4 tyres. Inside is a 8-inch touchscreen for the infotainment with built in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, there is also a reversing camera and blind spot monitoring system. The single optional extra is an automatic gearbox, which is £2,090.
With the engine, Toyota has used a Subaru engine here – a 2.4-litre four cylinder petrol with 232bhp, 184lb ft torque and 0-60mph can be handled in 6.3 seconds. The old car had a 2.0-litre with 197bhp.
