Jeep reveals new Renegade in Brazil, ahead of UK launch

Jeep has unveiled the new Renegade in Brazil this month, ahead of its release here in the UK later this year. The new refreshed model isn’t that different from the current model, with just a handful of minor changes.

Around the front of the Renegade is a new front bumper, with chunkier plastic body protection, new grey and red accent features. However, the grille has been changed much more, with a smaller design and new air vents.

Inside, there is a new steering wheel and new digital instrument screen for the driver. The 8.4-inch touchscreen for the infotainment looks to be the same, but we’ll have to wait and  see if Jeep has changes any of the software – but there is now a USB-C port.

For the engine, Jeep is offering a new 1.3-litre engine which is replacing the current 1.3-litre that has 178bhp. There will also be some hybrid options too.

The new Jeep Renegade should go on sale in the UK later this year for around £20,000-£23,000.
