Ford introduces new Ranger for 2022

Ford has introduced a brand new Ranger pick up truck for 2022, with a more American style, taking design cues from the F-150 and the new Bronco, both of which are US only models.

Ford has been selling the Ranger here in the UK since 2011 and was the fifth most popular LCV in 2020. The new model will be available to order later in 2022, with pricing yet to be revealed.

In terms of the interior, Ford has added a much larger touchscreen this time, taking inspiration from the Mach-E it is now portrait and available in 10-inch or 12-inch sizes. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both supported.

Engine wise, the same 2.0-litre diesel is offered still as well as a new 3.0-litre diesel V6, but no details are yet offered on its power output.

Ford will also offer the high performance Ranger Raptor model again, the current model has a 2.3-litre diesel with 270bhp.
