MG ZS EV updated with more range and redesigned front end

MG has updated its ZS EV today, with a larger battery pack, redesigned front end, new interior with updated tech and more. The ZS now has much more range, thanks to its larger battery pack, which has been increased from 44.5kWh to 72kWh.

The new larger battery has posted the range from 163 miles to 273 miles, in the Long Range model. There is also a standard model, which has a 51kWh battery pack – which is capable of 198 miles of range.

MG will start selling the updated ZS in November in the UK, prices are yet to be revealed and customers looking to purchase should register with MG. Prices in the EU have been touted at €30,990 for the Standard Range model and €34,990 fo the Long Range model.

In terms of charging, rapid charging is 76kW and MG says that the Long Range model, when using CCS will charge up in 42 minutes.

Inside, there is a brand new system for infotainment, with a large 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging and a digital display for the driver.
