All Apple retail stores outside of China are now closed until 27th March

Late last week, Apple announced that every physical retail store outside of China will now be closed until the 27th March due to the coronavirus outbreak. In weeks prior, the stores in China were closed for a number of weeks, and those have recently reopened.

Apple has also announced that it is donating $15 million to help reduce the impact of the virus.

Apple’s committed donations to the global COVID-19 response — both to help treat those who are sick and to help lessen the economic and community impacts of the pandemic — today reached $15 million worldwide.

In case anyone was wondering, Apple will be paying its staff members the normal hourly rates, while the stores are closed. Apple has said that anyone needing support can use the support site on apple.com.
