This week, Apple has expanded its more premium AppleCare+ plan to more countries in Europe. The AppleCare+ insurance with theft and loss coverage is now available France, Italy and Spain and taking that into consideration, the plan is now available in eight countries around the world including the US and the UK.

AppleCare+ theft and loss insurance is more expensive than the standard plan, but will cover you if your iPhone gets lost or stolen. If this does unfortunately happen to you, Apple will ship out a new device for you with a small fee on top.

As of writing, AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss is now available in the following counties.

  • Australia
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • Spain
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

With this plan, you are able to get one replacement phone every twelve months for a small fee, which is a lot better than having to fork out for a brand new iPhone. The plan is available via an upfront payment or via a rolling plan.

Cost

In the US, AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss for the iPhone 13 Pro is priced at $13.49/month, If your iPhone is lost or stolen, Apple will charge you $149 for a replacement. Like the standard AppleCare+ plans, there is included device damage at a reduced rate.

In the EU, that same plan is €11.49/month for the iPhone 13 Pro and a replacement device will set you back €129. In the UK the plan is £11.99/month and is just £109 up front for a new device.
