Fiat has updated the Doblò for 2022, with a very familiar design which looks pretty much identical to the existing ë-Berlingo from Citroën. This is because Fiat is owned by Stellanits and for all of those companies under that umbrella, the commercial vehicles tend to be very visually similar.

The new E-Doblò joins the new Doblò range with combustion engines. The E-Doblò is the third all-electric van in the Fiat Professional range, with the company already offering the medium and large sized models, the E-Ducato and E-Scudo.

The E-Doblò joins the Peugeot e-Partner, Citroën ë-Berlingo, Vauxhall Combo-e and Toyota Proace City Electric. All of which are based on the same EMP2  platform from Stellanits.

The E-Doblò has a 50kWh battery powering the 100kW electric motor. For some reason the E-Doblò has a slightly better range than its siblings, with a 173 mile range, two more than the other vans. The E-Doblò is available with a Rapid Charge Mode to allow the van to charge up from 0-80% in just 30 mins, when used on a 100kW charger.

The Fiat Doblò is available in combustion form too, with two diesel and one petrol engines on offer.

The new Doblò and E-Doblò are both on sale now in the UK.
