For the past year, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 have been nagged to upgrade to the new Windows 10 operating system, many have upgraded, back in November Microsoft had achieved 132 million installs of Windows 10 and then in earlier February this year more people were using the new OS than XP users. Now as we’re in July, the last day that users can upgrade to Windows 10 is July 29 and the new Anniversary Update is coming on August 2nd.

Microsoft is using the next few weeks to push the upgrade to Windows 10 and now they will be displaying a full page message to remind you for the last time that Windows 10 is free, following this – this is the last time Microsoft will nag users about Windows 10. Also with this message, Microsoft is actually allowing users to fully dismiss the message by clicking “Do not notify me again.”

Once the free upgrade for Windows 10 has expired, the standard version of Windows 10 will cost $120 and Windows 10 Pro will cost $200.
