This week, Audi is expanding their RS line with a new ‘Performance’ version of the RS Q3 which is now available for orders today, with the model to be debuted at the Geneva Motor Show later next month. The RS Q3 is very close to being on par with the BMW M3, with 362bhp from the 2.5 litre engine, that power propels the four wheel drive up to 60 in just 4.4 seconds, which again comparing it to the M3 is only one tenth of a second slower. The new high performance Q3 was unveiled earlier this month on February 4th.

The RS Q3 Performance will cost £49,175 and has 27bhp more than the standard RS Q3, bringing it up to the same power level as the RS3. The Performance model also gleans quite a bit extra kit as standard including 20-inch alloy wheels, red brake clappers like the RS3 and sports seats with quilted leather. The ‘Performance’ edition of the RS Q3 will be available this spring.
